Living Off the Land in the Fortress of the Bears

From June 30th until September 8th I lived exclusively "off the land" in the  Kootznoowoo Wilderness of southeast Alaska.

 

I picked berries, ate wild plants and seaweed, fished, caught Dungeness crabs, and hunted. It was an amazing adventure unlike any other I've been on.
