Thru-Paddle of the Yellowstone River

Today I leave on a trip down the Yellowstone River with my old smokejumper buddy Jim Griffin. We will raft from the Park boundary to Livingston, Montana and from there I will continue by canoe to where the Yellowstone runs into the Missouri River just across the Montana/North Dakota border.

Completed the Desert Trail!

I finished my hike of the Desert Trail, Mexico to Canada, on July 11, 2012. It was a wonderful adventure. You can read my journal and see many photos here.
